christians are taught to forgive but to forget is not possible - let's be realistic, christians are humans as well and our brains are not designed to be like computers to delete things that we don't need it so 100% of the time forgetting is not possible. forgive her that's your part and her part is in between God and her. to learn to forgive will also be beneficial for ourselves not for others cause it's a commandment as much as it will help us to live a better life.

Of course forgive her...it will make you feel a lot better. But don't date her anymore. Find a girl friend that thinks the same way as you do and has the same beliefs. It's overwhelming to be born again and you need to share that with someone that has been there and done that and lives that kind of life.

First of all, if you are truly a Christian, show some respect for God, by spelling the word "God" with a capital letter. Second, not your girlfriend, nor you should be sleeping with anyone until married according to the rites of Holy Matrimony, in the law of your faith, and then, only with your spouse, according to Christian law and values.

A girl whom you consider for dating, need not be forgiven by you for the sin of adultery, only by God, and whomever else she sinned against. You may pray for her, as this act apparently offended you, but she did not violate your trust, nor your bond, if you were not dating her previously, as your question implies.

DId she cheat on you? If yes dump her. Or did she sleep with someone before you even dated her. If that is the case forgive, the chances of you dating a virgin are 1/1000000 (at least if you are over 20.

If you believe in God and what he says then yes, its not easy but he calls us to forgive just as he does.

You should forgive her, but that doesn't mean that you have to think it was ok. Forgiveness is mostly for you. It helps you move past it so you can move on with your life. It doesn't mean that you have to take abuse or get back with her.

I hope your heart heals soon.

You should forgive her...
but not stay with her...
or give another chance but make it really hard on her..
im also christian and i understand what you are going through....
but do you think she is good for you... do you think she will agree with your religion and your beliefs?
you should forgive but you shouldnt let her hurt you again..

I am a Christian too. My advise to you is... you will definitely have to forgive her, just as magnanimously as God did when He forgave you and I. Let bygones be bygones. Once you are able to do that, only than can you claim that you truly love her and that you truly love God.
