of a previous love? It's over, but I just keep thinking about it. I need something to keep it off my mind.

And its not like I can get away from it, I have to work with this guy a lot.
We also have to play love interests in a musical...

I truly believe that all of us still have a soft spot in our hearts for our first loves. I am very happily married with children and have no desire to be with my first love, yet somewhere deep inside I have alot of memories and alot of "first" with this person. Honestly I can not stand the person he has become, yet I'll never forget the person he used to be. Time for real is about the best cure for forgetting or overcoming anything in life. Over time and as your person grows you will come to accept that it was just meant to be and come to peace with losing this person in your life. Until then try praying for that peace and understanding.
you will never forget .he is with someone so let him go and don't be down with yourself get out there , there is someone looking for you ,you just need to find them.
You don't thats you first love you are always going to love her/him. Just not going to be in love with her/him like you use to. You going to find something or shall I say someone that will make you forget all about her/her.

It is normal to think about a previous love! You not the only one who goes through this. You must ask yourself is there closure with the person or do you still harbor feelings. Let yourself go through a time of grievance for this love...sooner or later...he will be a passing thought that is no more. So get some love songs and a good romance movie and go through the motions.

Keep dwelling on it, as you need to find yourself reaching Conclusions. Find out if you find righteousness in your old love. Breaking up is not the final indicator of the end, but sometimes it can be a test of how strong you are.
Don't try getting into any other serious relationships until you're sure, because that won't work out well as you'll never genuinely be fulfilled if you rush off.

The best way is to go travelling. Go somewhere far, somewhere where both of you have nevr been to, somewhere where there is no memory of the two of you together. That'll do the trick.
Else find a new love and concentrate on the new guy instead.
Keep yourself occupied. Go do something you have never done before. Remember, an idle mind is a dangerous mind.

Find something to take up your time. You need to find a person or something to put your intrest in...and time.
My mother was in love with a man and never got over him. She is now 75 and still single. Mainly because she didn't want to let him go. She dated him when she was 17.
Blessings to you

only time will make the previous love fade. until that time you have to keep your mind occupied with friends, activities or a new guy.

I would like to know that answer myself. I'm sure that when you get involved with a new love the lost love would gradually fade

Focus on something or someone new. The only way we can overcome old habits is to replace them with new ones. Put yourself out there and meet someone new.

Your correct. I've been in this situation before. I did things that would occupy my mind. I stayed busy and started new hobbies.
