Don't answer the door. There is no law that says you have to answer. If you see them coming down the sidewalk, just don't answer and stay away from the door. You owe them no explanation, and none of your time.

You can't get rid of Jehovah's Witnesses.They have the backing of Almighty God.And they are doing the work he assigned them.
Mat.24:14states"this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth,for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come"

Every true Christian goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.
(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house
It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
Incidentally, the typical Jehovah's Witness knocks at hundreds of doors each year. He has already experienced degrading behavior from householders, some of whom: stand there naked, mimic Satanists, proposition lewd acts, brandish weapons, sic dogs, scream profanities, accuse crimes, and call Witnesses anti-American (inside the USA) or pro-American (outside the USA).
Fascists have called Witnesses "communists". Communists have called Witnesses "fascists".
Haven't you ever heard of 'hedging your bets'? Simple risk vs. reward analysis should make anyone very reluctant to abuse these ministers.
(Acts 5:38,39) I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, you may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”
Jehovah's Witnesses are going to knock on your door unless you specifically and unequivocally tell them that you do not want them knocking, or if they fear for their own safety. Nothing else will really deter them, so you would be going to a lot of effort to accomplish nothing but pleasing Satan.
Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Tell them you're Jewish and if you had lived 1900 years ago, you wouldn't have listened to any of the Apostles when they went house to house, trying to tell you that your religion was not quite up to standards anymore.
Tell them that you are not about to listen to anyone still using the same old barbaric methods used by the Apostles, with their bothering people in their homes. Just as they should have left people well enough alone 1900 years ago, so should JWs now. If Jews and any one else had wanted to become Christians, they would have went to the Christian churches, instead of Christians coming around and knocking on the doors of private homes.

The other answers were good, but the best way? Tell the truth. Tell them you are not interested, thank them for dropping by and close the door with a smile.
That would be the best way.

Why would you want to?I have had them come to my door many times, and never once have I asked them to leave. Take the opportunity to learn what it is that they believe. You don't have to join them, but you will have gained some knowledge, and you will be a better person for it.

If you dont want them to knock on your door...then call the local Kingdom Hall(JW church) and ask to be put on their "Do Not Call List" They will put your address on file for 1 year and nobody will come to your door. After 1 year they will come by and see if you are still living there...if you are...Just ask to be put back on the list.

They come to my home all the time, they give me their books to read even though I told them I am Muslim , but they keep coming .I really enjoy talking to them and know about their religion UN less I am very busy.

why would you want to get rid of god people who are the only ones out trying to spread the good news of the lord Jesus Christ. no other religion goes out door to door.
