"Left Behind" theology is fiction. The "Pre-Tribulation Rapture" was made up by a man named Darby in the early/mid 1800's. Before he invented it from his imagination the Church never believed or taught anything like it.

P.S> ADDITION: Dear margarita_girl_713: Why are you going on about the Rapture and the 7 Year Tribulation period being in the Book of Revelation? You obviously have not actually read it. I have a big surprise for you. None of that is in the Book of Revelation. You read it and you will see.

it's true!
mark 13:26-27- Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive in the clouds with great power and glory. And He will send forth his angels to gather together his chosen ones from all over the world- from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.

john 12:35-40 - Jesus replied, "My light will shine out for you just a little while longer. Walk in it whil you can, so you will not stumble when the darkeness falls. If you walkd in the darkness, you cannot see where you are going. Believe in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light." ....

john 14:1-3- Don't be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

1 corinthians 15:51-57- But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us. Not all of us will die, but we will be transformed. It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will never die. For our perisable earthly bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die. When this happens- when our perishable earthly bodies have been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die- then at last the Scripture will come true: "Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?

For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. How we Thank God who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord!

1 thessalonians 4:16-17- For the Lord himself will come down from heaven witha commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever.

revelations 22:20-21- He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, "Yes I (Jesus) am coming soon!

Everything I have found in my bible all say the same thing. Get a bible and start from the beginning all theway to the end. the new covenant or agreement is in the new testament. all you have to do is say Jesus, I am a sinner, I am sorry for what I have done and accept you Jesus as my Lord and savior. Then live your life according to the Bible. You will not regret it.

More accurately, it states that the "church" will be removed from the earth and ascend to Heaven, the "church" being God's true followers, not the building. And it isn't necessarily anywhere close to the world ending, in terms of our perspectives at least.

And I believe if it really has any truth to it, that it has already happened. I think it's safe to say that the people who truly walk in the footsteps (and the example) of Jesus have long left the earth. The people who are still here and claim to be followers of Jesus (at least some of them; quite possibly most of them) are truly the most ruthless, rude, bigoted, and ungodly people I have ever had the misfortune of knowing.

It's because Jesus and Paul taught it.Why would I not believe the Scriptures?Paul said in I Thessalonians 4:15-18,".....For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a mighty shout.....and the dead in Christ will rise first to meet the Lord. Then we who are alive and left on earth will be "CAUGHT UP"(the Greek word is harpazo, the Latin is rapturo(rapture)) to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. So comfort each other with this news."
So whenever you see one of those knuckleheads with the bumper sticker"In case of rapture this car will be unmanned",at least you know what he's talking about.
Don't be freaked out ,study it ,you may then be caught up too,if you put your trust in Jesus,or after you are dead, you to will raise to new life.Dude it is something to be glad about because the second resurrection is BAD NEWS for all.Try to get in the first one...believe me.
PS red flag..your body will be changed"in an instant,in the twinkling of an eye " to immortality,no oxygen or crap like that needed.

I believe in the rapture because it's in the bible. Revelations. You should read it (It's the last book). It also does not say that the unbelievers will be left here to die with the planet. Negative. It says that the non-believers will be left for 7 years, years of trial and tribulation. The years of the antichrist. Then the Glorious Appearing. Those that were left behind the first time had another chance to accept christ into their hearts. The rapture is God's wake up call.

yes because the bible says he will come like a thief in the night with a twinkling of a eye it will happen there will be two in the field and then only one. but i don't know at what point of the seven year tribulation this will happen, i know the mark of the beast is already here and everything you buy all ready has it on it. but it will not be enforced upon people until the Antichrist takes control but he is not going to say he's the Antichrist hes going to say he is god and he will work miracles and he will be killed and raised from the dead this is when Satan takes control of him of this man.

No, it's another in a long list of myths from "that book".

Really, how are people going to rise from the dead? How will the living float up, through the roofs of their cars, through ceilings, etc. And where are they going? Into outer space with very cold temperatures and thinning oxygen levels? I know people will say that God will take care of that, but to answer the question again, "no". It is another far-fetched story.

Yes I do believe in the Rapture, because I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that He died for my sins and cleansed me of my inequities. So since I believe in Him, I believe in His word, and since His word tells of the future to come...I believe and have hope in its happening. Because I know where I am going. If you are afraid and freaking out, you most likely do not know where you are going. So the question is, do you know Jesus? If not, would you like to meet Him? If so, refer to the following sources listed below:

The "Rapture" is not God's Second Coming nor the end of the world.
