the whole the hair gets coarser thing is a myth....the reason it feels coarser if you shave is that you take the top of the hair away and the regrowth is down the stem of hair...if you wax or use cream then the new hair growth is from a new folicle......Waxing will work but if you really want to use cream then try nair....it works well

If you're over 18 (which is doubtful from the way you write) you could consider laser hair removal. This typically doesn't work on people still going through puberty, but about four or five treatments on each area would do the trick (it would take about three hours to do your tummy and full back). Using a hair removal cream is more like shaving than waxing. You're cutting the hair off at the surface, not removing it from the root, so it will grow back with a blunt end. NOTHING YOU CAN DO WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW BACK THICKER! If you want the hair to grow back more slowly and with a tapered (not blunt) end, go with waxing. Electrolysis would be another option for a small area like the "treasure trail" from your belly button to your pubic hair.

there are many ways to remove unwanted body hair.

1. laser hair removal, expensive but effective and hair won't go back for quite long time.

2. waxing, is another. typical and economical. it hurts though, but because this technique takes the hair out from the roots, hair won't grow back fast, it will grow thick for some but this is the bad side of removing body hair: you have to do it all over again, it does not stop, that's why other people work what they already have than ask for something more!

3. there is also a technique called "sugaring": Sugaring is a fast, effective and long lasting method of hair removal. As an ancient hair-removal practice, Sugaring is an all natural method of removing unwanted hair. Sugaring is originated in Egypt at least three centuries ago. It gaining popularity today because the effects are similar to waxing. The process of sugaring is so simple, salon quality results can be achieved at home with very little practice. The sugaring method is similar to the waxing method, however since the sugaring compound adheres only to the hair and not the skin, as wax does, there is less discomfort.Sugaring falls into the category of epilation. This means that the hair is removed by its roots, below the skin's surface. This is one of the reasons sugaring is preferable to shaving. Because the hair is removed below the skin's surface, it is not uncommon for one application to last four to six weeks.

4. depilatories. All depilatories work the same way. They break apart the keratin fibers and dissolve the hair above the surface of the skin. Depilatories contain ingredients called thioglycolates which are responsible for the breakdown of the proteins of the keratin. They have a high pH in the alkali range and can be damaging to the skin.

5. electrolysis. Electrolysis is a Permanent hair removal method for most consumers if performed correctly (which requires considerable training and skill). During electrolysis hair removal,hair-thin metal probe is slid into a hair follicle. Proper insertion does not puncture the skin. Electricity is delivered to the follicle through the probe, which causes localized damage to the areas that generate hairs. try the Vector Electrolysis Hair Removal System

6. bleaching. Unsightly hair in facial areas can be made less visible through a process known as bleaching. Bleaching does not remove the hair, but rather, allows it to blend in. Bleaching works well on hair that is not thick or long. Dark haired women find that bleaching slight mustache areas is less painful than plucking and less expensive than electrolysis. Bleaching is done every few weeks and causes little or no abrasion or irritation. Fairly large areas of the skin can be bleached, and the skin itself does not react or discolor because of the bleach.

7. shavers, razors,: Shaving is an old-fashioned method of hair removal as razors have been around for many hundreds of years. Despite this, shaving remains one of the most widely used ways to get rid of unwanted hair. Shaving involves cutting the hair at the skin level, and can be used on legs, underarms, and the bikini area. But shaving should never be used on a woman's face.

No matter what razor you choose, you can expect the results of shaving to last anywhere from a day to a week (depending on how fast your hair grows). Some people believe that shaving produces thicker hair over time, but this is a myth. It is true that when you shave, your hair grows back as stubble, which can feel thicker. Regular shaving will eliminate this stubble, or at least keep it under control.

8. tweezers! OUCH! it is the least expensive way, all it takes is the prize of the tweezer itself, and the pain you get! hehe

9. threading. Threading is similar to tweezing except it is done one hair at a time by someone who wraps or lassoes one hair and pulls it out. This is continually done until all the desired hairs are removed.

Description:

The practitioner holds one end of the cotton thread in his or her teeth and the other in the left hand. The middle is looped through the index and middle fingers of the right hand. The practitioner then uses the loop to trap a series of unwanted hairs and pull them from the skin. There are also devices made that can hold the thread during the procedure.

Advantages:

Inexpensive, fast, neat, considered less painful than plucking for many. Good for eyebrows and facial hair. Like plucking, results can last up to two to four weeks.

Disadvantages:

Hard to find a professional practitioner outside large cities. Can be painful and cause itching afterwards. Side effects can include folliculitis, a bacterial infection in the hair follicles, skin reddening or puffiness, and changes in skin pigment.

laser hair removal. this may sound drastic, but the average session is about $45 and it should get rid of all of it in one session i did that for my tummy hair and my bikini line and only 2 or 3 hairs TOTAL came back. well worth your trouble...i'll never have to shave again!!! it's also safe for your face, like eyebrows, lip, chin, whatever. that's my next goal.

OR

there's this stuff i use for my facial hair now that i got @ walmart. it's called veet facial wax strips. it's more like glue than wax. you don't have to heat it and you just smooth it on and rip it right off! and if it works good on faces, i'm sure it would do good on your stomach. it's like $4 for 20 strips...WAAAY worth it. good luck!

Try Electrolysis, Laser.

For cremes, try Nair, Veet or Anne French in Lemon.

Theres a cream called Nair. I don't suggest it but maybe it burned on me because I have sensitive skin.

Theres Veet bladeless cream but I heard that burns also.

With creams its not 100 percent effective and in the end you have to shave the parts it missed.

This is expensive, but very effective. Laser hair removal surgery. You'll never grow back hair in that area again. Trust me on this one!
