I've decided to step away from a guy that doesn't like me back. I've spent way too much time around him and I know I just need to slowly, but surely place him back into the "just a friend zone" in my head. Plus, I've reduce my quality time (hanging out, phone calls, emails, etc) with him since he's confusing me with this signals. However, it seems I can't stop thinking or talking about him. I've never fully gotten over a guy before, because I've always replaced them with someone else. This time, I won't do that! I'm trying to stop doing that and learn to heal before moving onto another guy.

Any advice on how to control it in my head before it comes out of my mouth?

By the way, I know it is obsessive. You don't have to remind me.

The best thing to do is keep him off your mind and this is done though keeping yourself busy. Don't have too much idle time during the day or week otherwise what happens is people tend to overanalyse things when they have a lot of idle time on their hand. You need to stay occupied with other things and cut all communication with this guy.

And then remember it takes time. You can't rush the process and force yourself to get over him quickly. It takes time. Good luck.

restrain your self from speakme, feel earlier than you are saying whatever, and check out to hold your ideas to your self, this fashion you look extra mysterious to each person round you. take a look at to hang around with smaller companies (a million or two individuals best) that method the dialog is extra restrictive, simply till you kick the stuttering addiction. approximately being worried, probably you are no longer used to the individuals round you, and that might simply take a little time earlier than you believe cozy round them. simply attempt to calm down and optimistically the anxiousness will finally depart
