Etiquette wise, it is always wrong to speak about religion around others. It is a subject that is too easy to offend people about. So you really should avoid the subject of religion.
If you are not worried about etiquette, then I would say that when the discussion starts to become heated or when someone suggests the subject be changed.

That depends on how you feel. If you understand that many people have very strong religious beliefs that may be different than yours and you don't mind a good debate then go ahead and speak out.
It's the same deal with politics. Especially now when so many people feel so strongly one way or the other.

When you know that whoever is a dog(that is someone that returns to their own vomit, over and over) you know what I mean?Or the swine(the ones that will take the truth and beat you over the head with it).I must include if you don't have the Holy Spirit to guide you it is difficult to know who these people are.

"Mark 8:38If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.""
Jesus said if anyone is ashamed of him then he will be ashamed of them. So, you should never be afraid to speak about Christ because you might offend some people.. .

When ever you are not at church or in your own home with people who believe the same as you. Any other time is asking for trouble...although on YA it is ok because there is a section for that kind of conversation.

Anytime you don't agree with the person you are talking to. Instead of religion, try talking about, Jesus.
