lol well, this is the twenty first century and the more we turn on the t.v., the more we see that its ok to do these things but, sorry to break it to you, its a sign of disrespect to your friend and you most importantly. Think of it this way, people are always watching you to see how you act and if they see you give your friend "whom your are currently dating" a tap on the tush they think this "hmmmm so he's like that" just be careful and public affection should be at the minnimum (a kiss, hug, or hand holding is acceptable in todays generation) I'm only 18!! I know I sound old but it was just how I was raised!!

What would be your intention? Would you like a girl to the same to you?
How about that: would you find it appropriate to pull the girl's nose, or ear?
If you want proximity, act in order to be understood. If you want promiscuity, where does respect stands?

Yeah it's just a bit of fun. As long as he doesn't do it everytime he sees her or it bothers her then it's totally fine.
Don't listen to the bores who're obviously too old to remember high school.

Why are you asking us the second part though lol? huh?

If you're dating her, and she has no objections, then there really isn't a problem, although I would avoid doing it at school because you're supposed to be there to work. If she does object though, then it is not appropriate.

No. Another question that relates, is it proper for a boy in high school to have respect for his friend?

No. It would only be appropriate for a husband and wife, and then only with her permission.

No, it is not appropriate. Plus, it can lead to his getting in trouble for sexual harassment.

No.

And, yes, I saw your addition that the two are dating. The answer is still:

No.

No. Not in public. Makes her look like a tramp and you like a jerk.
