Why would you not wash your hair? Do you know how much dust and dirt your hair collects? Especially with hairspray. I would hate to see your pillowcase under a microscope. WASH YOUR HAIR!!! About the hair falling out, we lose over 100 strands a day. Normally most of them would go down the drain. But really you need to wash and brush it. It's not healthy for the scalp or hair.

Is this a Joke?? If not, what u r doing is BAD for your hair. Flat ironing your hair trice a day, you are frying the hairspray that u are putting in there every night. Once a day should be sufficient enough.
The hairspray your putting on it is building up and when u do decide to wash it you will have to wash it 10 times to get the build up off your hair. I'm surprised you don't have tons of hairspray flakes.
Everybody loses hairs everyday and most of us lose them washing our hair. Since your not washing your hair you are finding it in your hands, and probably your brush and combs also.
I am curious as to why your not washing you hair. If it's cause the style you are wanting you can find hair products that will get u the same results.
You would also save time. You are spending more time flat ironing it twice a day than you would wash, blow dry and flat iron it once a day. If you are flat ironing it twice to get it straight you might want to look into getting a better flat iron. I recommend a Chi.
You say you are cleaning your scalp, but yet your not washing your hair. I have been a hairdresser for 3 years and I really don't see how that's possible. But if you found a way I'm curious as to how your doing it. But really you should just have better hygiene habits.. I wish u the best of luck!

Um, OK I'm going to say you really need to wash your hair. First of all, if you're using all that hairspray, the product build up in your hair is not good. If you wash your hair, that will cut back on your oil problem. Second, you are straightening your dirty product laddened hair twice a day and now we have, Heat + Dirt+Product build up. (Wow!) Of course your hair is coming out my dear. If you're African American, you should be cleansing your hair at least once a week or every other week with a moisturizing shampoo followed by a deep conditioner. A good wet set after shampooing and conditioning instead of straitening would be healthier for your hair. Also, you might want to look at trimming about a quarter inch off your hair every six to eight week to get rid of the split ends I know the straitening is causing.
Holy Cow! could you be treating your hair worse?

Not washing your hair won't make your it fall out, but straightening it twice a day will cause some serious damage. Any type of heat styling dehydrates hair and weakens it, so if you're not regularly washing and conditioning it, you're going to be getting terrible split ends.
You shouldn't wash your hair every day, but leaving it unwashed for a very long period of time can become pretty unhygienic. Plus, all the oils that build up in your hair get onto your pillowcase and clog pores, contributing to breakouts. Also, putting hairspray on every night is just creating buildup... not stripping oils.

no i dont think that your hair will fall out but thats grose. i have used baby powder in my hair before when it gets a little greasy and i dont have time to wash it. and how do you wash your scalp regularly if you dont wash your hair that is impossible. bo you at least take a shower and wash off all the hair spray. why would any one want to do this. the straighting it twice a day may cause it to fall out but not usually, it just damages the hair and causes split ends. have you heard of personal hygen? and by the way i am supprised you dont have lice or a fungi by now, assuming you dont because you didnt mention it.

I don't think that your hair will fall out. It is normal for hair to fall out on a regular basis. I wash my hair every day and loose a lot of hair. Why do you chose not to wash your hair. It's unhealthy. When you say you put hairspray in your hair doesn't that make it greasy, it sure does for mine. If your so worried about loosing your hair take a shower!

which my dr. said would happen.

confident! do only not wash it or something the two weeks in the previous and when you straighten it, our hair builds up airborne dirt and dust (which sounds nasty) yet while getting a relaxer you do not choose it at present on your hair, it is going to smash it right down to a lot!

Sweetheart....it probrably better if you wash it especially because of the hair spray and stuff....it could possibly cause hair loss!! You should use a good shampoo and conditioner....if you hair is like the two above references...it is very beautiful and you want it to stay that way....have a great day!! :)

Why don't you wash your hair? Are there reasons? When you don't hydrate your hair it becomes brittle and will break off or fall out, I doubt you will go bald but just wash it about once a week at least and if you use hair spray wash it out because it dries your hair out and damages it.
