Yay, thanks guys. I worry about things, but being able to ask questions (sometimes stupid ones) immediately gives me long-lasting relief and satisfaction from the worry.

Thinking certain thoughts? No.

Acting on certain thoughts? ("I wonder what will happen if I drink this methanol and then shoot some heroin") Yes.

Metaphysicians believe that our thoughts influence our health. Louise L. Hay wrote a great book on the subject, "you can heal your life" As I recall (don't have a copy here), she says cancers are caused by anger and hatred. The book also gives you affirmations (positive things to say to counteract the negative ones you've been saying). A general affirmation for cancer might be, "I love and accept my life."

Many people who were abused as children seem to get more cancers than others; one friend of mine in her 40s (severely abused as a child) has had three different kinds of cancer.

Even regular physicians believe the same when they say things like "laughter is the best medicine" and "try to have a good attitude" But they'll probably never admit it!

Certain thoughts can not cause brain damage or brain cancer. My goodness some people really need to get out more instead of sitting behind a computer asking stupid questions that will get me to respond when Im this bored and tired.

No. Cancer causes cancer....accidents and strokes and other things cause brain damage.

Bless you for worrying

One of my favorite quotes:

"We are what we think. All that we are arises from our thoughts. With our thoughts we make our world." Buddha

Keep telling yourself 'I am 100% healthy'. Imagine yourself being 100% healthy.
