If her leg is broken, they can usually fix it, but sometimes it depends on the situation...but they wont put her down for a hurt leg. Sometimes surgery has to be an option with SOME cases. Depends on what it is. Maybe she will just have a cast...take her to the vet on mon. Keep her crated until then, or in a small confined area.

Your cat needs to see a vet. I would look for an animal emergency clinic in your area or even some SPCA offer vet services. If you absolutely cant take her anywhere until Monday, I would confine her in a crate or small area like a small bathroom where she could not move around too much and make her injury worse. Keep her warm and as quiet as possible. Badly injured animals often don't eat or drink and she could become dehydrated. She could have a dislocated hip or broken leg, either of which would cause her to possibly have internal bleeding and go into shock. She could also have something like an infected cut, infections under the skin in cats can get really nasty and need a vets care to clean them out. Vets can fix broken legs in cats, money is usually the issue that decides if they put them down or not. Good luck to you and your kitty.

The vet wouldn't have to put the cat down. Cats can and do live with only three legs. However, even if the leg isn't broken, it may have some broken skin and that's how infections get started.
You can take her to the vet tonight. Most towns have an emergency vet clinic. Even if you can't afford treatment, some will work with you financially.
Meanwhile, the cat is hurting. She may have been mauled by a larger animal or even hit by a car. If you aren't going to take her in tonight, isolate her, keep her warm. Offer her water and if she will let you, try to look closely at the leg to see if there's any bleeding. If there is, you MUST try to get medical attention immediately. If there is no bleeding, wrap the leg lightly with some medical gauze to keep it from moving. Then take her to the vet Sunday morning.

You need to get her to the vet asap. I can't imagine that they would put her down. I've had a cat with a broken leg and the vet put a cast on him and he hobbled around for about a month but he was ok. Most vets will have an after hours and weekend emergency vet on call. If yours doesn't you can find one in the phone book. It is more expensive than regular hours, but the cat is most likely in a lot of pain. Another full 24 hours untreated would be really painful.

If it's that bad and you're really worried, don't wait to get to the vet. Take her to a nearby animal hospital. (I know there's a 24-hour emergency pet center near me)
They won't put your cat to sleep for a broken leg. They will probably just put a cast on it and give her some pain medication.

The claw is a factor of the bone of the final toe joint. So confident, with the intention to declaw a cat they final toe joint must be amputated. Cats stroll on their feet, so this alters their gate and that they might now not stretch like they might desire to between those 2 issues, cats advance early arthritis. of direction that is painful - it is so painful that it is the operation that pharmaceutical companies use to purpose new soreness drugs. The soreness under no circumstances incredibly is going away - and that's the reason 30% of cat advance a minimum of one behavioral venture placed up declaw. those subject concerns comprise biting, refusal to apply the clutter field (their mutilated paws are invariably too painful to dig in the field - so as that they pee on your furnishings or rug incredibly). different subject concerns comprise aggression, or melancholy, lethargy and hiding. Get a severe high quality piece of cat furnishings for the cat to scratch, and trim claws weekly and the cat won't scratch inappropriately. in case you are able to not try this, then disgrace on you - you may desire to not are transforming into a kitten in the 1st place.

Yes they can fix it, they won't put your cat down first unless you allow it and second they won't offer it unless there is severe internal injury. There are ER vets that your pet would benefit from now.In the meantime you just need to keep your pet comfortable and monitor the breathing etc.Take your cat to the ER vet or call out your vet now.

Sorry to hear bout ur kitty...that's why I never let mine out.
Try to keep her as still and quite as possible. Bring her food, litter box and water to her. Make her bedding real soft also.
Its possible her leg could be broke-In most cases in can be fixed & normally u dont have to put down an animal for that- all situations r different. And...you've got to get her there asa u can. Hopefully she doesn't have any internal bleeding-just watch her closely- but really - if u see her decline anymore-I"d see if they have an emergency overnite clinic just in case.
Hope it helps & Good Luck.

You have some good answers already-I agree kitty will be OK. But I wanted to answer just to tell puddee that when you are already worried about your pet is not the time to lecture you on your care of her-that's just rude! Good luck-kitties are pretty tough.
