This world started as a paradise but susequently its greed, politics and manipulation arising from the very human mind has brought it to the present status.
God made man and man made religions to connect to God. But historical facts and witnesses till date point out to the exploitation and usage of a particular religion as an issue by the politician of all times. I'm amazed that this (in)human attitude has never changed since last 2000 years of history. Extent of civilization, education and development of technology has not changed this attitude of human species.
Power has always been and is the priority of any politician. This is the point where things start to go take a wrong turn. Even today as of 21st century, religion beyong doubt remains the core issue to grab the overseas control and power. Common man often gets carried by the strategies and wordings of men in power. You know "might is right"...so what if Media (TV/megazines) masks or over-reacts to the reality.
Coming to the point...World may have started as a paradise and we are eventually going through a course of stages. Most of us think that we its a round cycle and i personally hope that our world reverts to better status.
Today its upto each of us...how to live our lives, what and how to choose from, how to react to the present day world, fix our priorities (for good) for the sake of our family, community and country and why not beyond that. I would conclude by saying that present day world is not too bad. Actually it has all the ingredients of life and fun, even much more than paradise. It a broad spectrum arena. Choice is ours...and so we all are blessed with 'brain'...and that's a heavenly blessing right here on earth.

By living. Actually living in the moment. Not worrying about the past, the future, the what ifs... Not thinking about what anyone would say or think because everything right at this very moment is perfection. By treating every person you meet in each moment like they are a part of something along with you .. .they really are- they're sharing your reality of right now. By living each moment with a goal of love, compassion and selflessness for yourself and others.

We cannot make this world Paradise because it is "Mrutyu Loka" or world of death. All that comes here must die some day.

People are too self centered for that to happen. The older I get the more I realize this. It's so depressing. But if it could happen. It would simply be in loving everyone equally and without reserve. Everyone would have to do it though.

We start by making peace with ourselves, loving and accepting ourselves fully. This makes one happy and joyous and when in that state, you pass it on to others and are loving and kind to them. There is plenty of abundance, peace, love, and harmony for everyone. So lets give it to ourselves first and then pass it all on.
Fantastic question!!! :)

It's not going to happen.
I think making the Earth into a utopia is completely out of humanity's grasp, since we're more interested in spending our money to beat the snot out of each other than we are in using it to invest in scientific advancement.
