What does the bible say?

King David had a son who was very sick. David was sad and fasted and wept for many days but the baby still died. David got up washed himself, got dressed had a big meal and went on with his business, as king.

Surprise, surprise. David's friends were surprised that now that his son was dead David got on with life. Of course he was asked 'why'. The answer was simple "When my son was sick but alive it was possible for him to be made well. Now he is dead he can not come to me but I KNOW that I will go to him'.

This son of David was not baptised and he is in heaven. This was in the Old Testament with the OLD Covernant. We have a new covernant now. This covernant is better then the old one so, just as David was sure that he would see his son in heaven, we can rest assured that un baptised babies will go to heaven, not limbo nor any other destination!

When babies die, they go to heaven. There is an age of innocence-God does not expect 3-month-olds, for example, to understand Jesus's sacrifice for us. He accepts them into heaven because they did not have the chance to understand that Christ is their Savior. I believe the same is also true for people with mental handicaps-if they are not capable of understanding sin and that Jesus is Lord, then they are not responsible for any sins they might commit. Baptism doesn't decide whether or not you go to heaven. When baptized, a person is showing their family and friends and church members that they believe in Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Me." This means that you can only get to heaven by believing in Jesus, not by having a pastor dip you underwater and back up. I have not been baptized yet, but I am confidant that I will go to heaven if I die without being baptized. This is because I have prayed to accept Jesus as my Savior, and he keeps his promise of salvation.

Well for one babies shouldn't be getting baptized.....they should be atleast 4 or 5 before that. As for the question I don't know.....they are not old or smart enough to really know who god is or how or what sinning is so I guess they go to Heaven and get taught.

Yes. God would never punish the innocent. There's a certain age of recognition where the child learns right from wrong, and before that, they are not held accountable for what they do. So babies and up to what I believe is about 6 will go to heaven.

Of course they do.Baptism doesn't save,it's only a ritual. It's for believers not babies.King David had a baby that died and he said,"He won't come back to me,but I will go to him someday".
Neither one were baptized.
When we are baptized it's to show we are dying to this world and rising to new life in Christ.

Oh yes!!! They are innocent and have committed no sin against God or man. I think of the song "Jesus loves the little children" and have no doubt whatever that babies go to heaven.

yes
they have not sinned
my church beleives that you get baptised when YOU are ready, babies can't make this decision.

you get baptised out of loyalty and obedience and babies don't have this yet because their brains are not formed.

god knows babies and young children are innocent.

I saw a dvd once where a man went to a family and prayed and then he got word and told the lady that her child was waiting for her in heaven - she had miscarried
