Might I add that we think it tastes better in plastic cups? Like glass gives it an awful weird taste? has anyone noticed it?

Yes, I have noticed this. I prefer to drink milk out of a plastic cup. Not sure why it is, but there is a difference. People that have a higher sense of taste notice it more, especially if a person smokes, as they have a lower sense of taste.

I have noticed that milk and other things taste different in plastic, glass (and metal) cups. I actually am not particularly fond of milk, but if I drink it, I prefer it very cold, and in a tall cup made out of glass.

I think milk tastes better out of a glass, because the glass keeps it colder than a plastic cup, it just makes sense that the colder the milk, the better it tastes!

The difference lies with the smell of the cup, not the milk, which is very closely related to the way things taste.

I find it it along with orange juice tastes slightly different when in glasses to mugs. It seems lemonade tastes better and less flat in glasses than mugs too.
