I've been going out to bars a lot lately and I remember a co-worker telling me about this other girl that we work with, and to just forget about her. She is only into money and will never date a dude from work . We make OK money but nothing to write home about.
I then drew the conclusion that the majority of women only care about money, and mentioned it to another femake co-worker. She flipped out. I was just being honest. I suspect it's because she's only into her guy for the money. She used to live next door to this dude and now he has his own business -- that does well from what I gather -- so now she dates him despite admittedly never feeling anything for him in the past.
I heard a woman can sum up if a guy is sex material within 10 seconds. So which is it? this doesn't add up.

I think that's such crap about "security." You need to buy a bunch of over-priced crap at bloomingdales to feel "secure" right?

I think your coworker flipped out, because your remarks were rude and insulting. You were generally disrespecting women and by implying the majority were in it for the money, she probably felt it was a personal dig at her. I think any women would think that was an obnoxious and unfair statement.
And what I find odd, is that you have come to the conclusion that the majority of women are only after money, because of what one coworker told you about this girl that you liked? Are you really that easily influenced by one person's opinion?
I think your problem is that you are insecure about what you earn and you think that women will not want to date you because you are not earning mega bucks. Yes, of course there are women out there who are only in it for the money, but I think for the majority of women, this is definitely not the case. I do feel that maybe you have been attracting the wrong types of women, which has made you come to the conclusion that all women must be the same.
You need to widen your horizons and stop going to bars so often! Then maybe you will see that not all women are gold diggers and that actually the majority are not like that at all.

I personally enjoy how your question seems so sincere like you are looking to date a nice girl who likes you for you. But then you ask about being "sex material." Somewhat of a contradiction. If you just want to get laid, pretend you have money.
I don't think that all women are out for men with money. I personally don't care if he's rich or poor. I was raised to be independent and all I want out of a boyfriend is for him to be independent. But there are definately women out there who only date men with money. Just stay away from those kinds of girls if you aren't interested in being with someone superficial. Otherwise, I know girls who don't care about how much money a man has so keep looking and you're sure to find one.

I know many women are in it for the money and I can only think that its because they might want a secure future without having to work for it. They probably just want a guy that can give them as much money as they want so they can shop all they want. Its not right, eventually they'll realize money cant buy happiness.

Depends on the woman, some women may look for money as a good trait in her man as that would secure her babies future.
Its nature kid. Other women may go for a man with brains cause she see's that will keep the family safe and secure. Or with muscles to fight off the baddies!!
Dont worry about it kid, if your not rich you'll meet a woman whose attracted to you for a different reason.

It's as instictual as men are into T and A.
Would you be offended if I said all men just care about how sexually attractive a woman is?
Some men are far more into it than others right?
Well it's the same thing on a very instintual primitive level,
Women have evolved to be attracted to a mate which can provide safety and security,
and men are attracted to 'fertile' mates.

I'd never get into a relationship for the money. I'd much rather earn my own money and buy my own gifts with it. I don't need a man to make me feel financially secure.

well yeah ur right sort of... i would have to say 50% of wemon are that way...25% to use them as toys and forget about other ppl (rebounders) and the rest are the true wemon. i personally dont go for the money. i wont even let my bf take me to the movies because it cost money so we go to the park or something and i wont let him get me anything during christmas and valentines etc. because i realize most relationships dont last so why spend so much on that person.

women aren't into money, per se, they are into security. when a woman is sizing up a guy who potentially could end up being her husband she wants to know if he has the ability to financially afford to take care of the family. of course, there are gold diggers who want extremes -- who want rich men to buy them things. however, most are just looking for security.
