Not really and I'll tell you why.
Life on this planet is a wonderful thing, full of things to explore and learn about. The quest for knowledge and the ability to understand how the universe really works is a better trade off in my opinion than simple attributing everything you don't understand to a God or gods.
I would much rather live my life with my eyes wide open than to live it pretending that a 2000 year old myth is the truth. Living ones life based on fantasy a waist.

Never have wished for such a thing. Why wish for something you know is merely mythology. It is nore important to stay focused and be concerned with what is going on in the here and now and less on the fear of death that most religions tend to be about.

I used to wish I can live in blissful ignorance, but now I just see that this life is the only I have, so I have to make the best of it.
