My fiance and I don't want a big wedding--we want to go on vacation to a beautiful place in the Caribbean, and get married there (no guests, just legal ceremony). I don't even know where to begin looking where to go, or who to ask. Travel agency? A book? A website? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If its really Beauty You want then the english speaking caribbean island named Dominica (*NOT THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC WHICH IS SPANISH)Dominica is Sitauted between the 2 french islands of Gaudeloupe and Martinque.15 21' North 61 24' west. Why Should You choose there for your wedding and honeymoon?Because it is one of the few places in the entire world that remains almost 100% natural with 365 rivers, countless waterfalls-some still being discovered,Lakes and some other sites.Wouldnt you like pictures of your wedding with breathtaking backdrops?Couples in the past have gotten married at waterfalls such as the famous Emerald Pool and so on.For the information on the paperwork of your wedding details go to www.dominica.dm/weddings.htm.
The island of Dominica is even more perfect for Honeymooners as this island takes you away from the everyday you can literally escape from it all and live among nature right next besides you with hardly or any disturbance at all except for the sweet symphonies of birds and trees etc..After all isnt that what honeymooners want?Romantic time together away from the world? In Sweet subtle Paradise.Isnt it supposed to be a one ina life time unforgettable Experience? The island emphasises eco tourism rather than the stereotyped Sun Sand and sea tourism where beaches are flocked and the same service and packages are offered agian and again. With the island emphaisising on ecotourism EXCELLENT accomadation nestled in the rainforests themselves exist with spa and so fourth .You can go to www.junglebaydominica.com or www.cocoacottages.com among tonnes of others. If u wann have an overview of the island go to www.dominica.dm & www.visit-dominica.com.These websites will give you all the necassary links to accomdation, pictures of the island and almost anything you need.I say again If its real beauty you want you should not settle for any other island.

i am looking to do the same. jamaica is pretty easy you can call the resort and plan with them you must plan 30 days in advance. let the resort take care of all the legalities. dom rep you have to plan it 4 mo in advance and if you were never married you have to have a paper stating your eligibility for marriage and then get it translated by the dom rep consulate in the us. as long as you follow all the laws of the country you are getting married in your marriage is valid in the us. check with your states attorney generals office once you have made your plans to see if there is anything else that needs to be done. good luck and i will be watching your question for some ideas.

grand cayman islands is alluring. London house is acceptable on 7 mile coastline and has leases. St. Thomas is quite exceedingly. Saphire Village is acceptable on the coastline and has leases. those are generic / above generic type of places for the close by standards. If money isn't a topic, in any respect, there are lots of greater alluring places in those places to stay. Facility sensible. area sensible, those are recommendations-blowing options and the accomodations are good and a solid fee.
