Are black people losing to the Mexicans such as jobs and in there communities and (education meaning that more Spanish school programs are being required) I do not think they should be left out in the cold do you ??????

Wish it was that simple, I guess when Americans wake up and see that the country we are leaving for our Children and Grandchildren is in the crapper because we were to lazy to boot these illegals out it will be to late to do anything about it.
We have trusted our leaders to do the right thing and they have not. Yet I am sure that on election day we will go and vote for the very same sorry ones again.
I guess everyone is just fine to sit and watch these illegals protest for their rights as TRESPASSERS in our streets. Watch them take our COuntry and way of life away. Steal our Childrens Education and Birth right away.
As long as we have ours, we dont care. I think we need to do a protest of our own and show our leaders what a day with out an American would be like.
Maybe then they would sit up and listen to us.
Nothing is going to change until we make our voice heard in Wasington and across the border.
Who can come up with a date and then can we stand up and be heard?
Is there anyone out there that cares enough about our Country and way of life to stand up and do something? Or are we just going to sit around our computers and see who can be the one to complain and make suggestions that are true feelings but just cant be done.
Are there any true Americans out there. Our country is under seige, it is being taken over by ILLEGAL TRESPASSERS.

I don't feel that any minorities should be slighted as long as they are American citizens. They should have the same rights and privileges as the mainstream white society, but sadly this is not often the case. There does seem to be a preponderance of Mexicans in this country, and some of them illegally so. Until more stringent immigration laws are passed, this will probably go on. Population-wise, I do think the Latinos are surpassing the blacks, so it wouldn't surprise me that they're taking more jobs. However, this is still a free society, so no one needs to be left out in the cold. If you're concerned about the destiny of the black people, write to your senators and legislators. Let them know that qualified citizens are being pushed aside because of illegal aliens. Maybe the blacks just need to be a little more aggressive in the employment fields, although they have certainly made a lot of progress in those areas in recent years. Overall, as far as jobs are concerned, there's enough to go around right now, so people shouldn't be judged by their ethnic backgrounds, but by their ability to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities. I agree, but if you ask La Raza, they say it's because blacks are lazy are not as intelligent. False assumptions of course, but embraced as the truth by their proponents.

Another reason, why illegal immigration is so morally wrong when standards should be raised for our current citizens prior to accepting new citizens. Simply put, America has pre-existing inequities and injustices among it's African-American and Native-American citizens that should be mended prior to taking on new citizens. Even worse, accepting new citizens who entered the US criminally, and/or with criminal intentions. How insulting is that to those descendants of slaves who were brought here to the US criminally!?

Actually, I know of MANY legal Mexican-Americans losing jobs to illegal Mexicans. Legal immigrants are getting booted as caretakers in nursing homes in favor of illegal (and cheaper) labor. Legal Mexican-American construction workers are having to venture further away for better paying jobs, as their old ones get handed over to illegal Mexicans. Employers who take illegal immigrants over their legal counterparts to save a buck are the source of the problem, and it affects ALL low to middle-income legal workers the most by driving down their wages or pushing them to move to find better jobs - it's not about color or race.

I live near Detroit, so who better to answer than me? Mexicans tend to mostly live in the south, close to the border. Blacks do live in the north, but are starting to move back south. Now, the Mexicans moving in means that they are the LOWEST social class. They truly are, at least other immigrants are considered exotic, Mexico is Mexico. Blacks speak English fluently and most of them have had ancestors living here longer than white people. We respect black people and how they have fought for their rights rather than skipping over a border and how they contribute a lot to our culture and economy. Blacks are not really a minority, even though there are more Mexicans than them. Blacks have already begun to rise above, and are equally capable at everything that white people are, and better in some areas. As for Mexicans... well, someone has to clean your house and do your landscaping, right?

yes.they are losing to Mexicans.... new Orleans is the best example---80% of the reconstruction workers were Mexican...why work if the government pays as much with free medical ..however the welfare system will take care to the 60% that fail to reach their potentials

in my opinion, it has nothing to do with race . . these days, who you know dictates whether or not you get a job . . who cares about qualifications anymore? . . it seems that people only hire their kids, or their friends and their kids . . . crazy, but true? . . . and as far as Mexicans, I think they are more quickly hired for jobs because people know that Mexicans are for the most part hard workers and will work for next to nothing . . .
