Now support your lie by explaining why he allows children to die in agony. Why does he allow children to be abused for years on end? Why does he allow all other kinds of suffering?
Why does he want us to worship him. Is this woman who put us here such an egotist that she wants us to say "thank you" for this precarious position she has put us in?

This is to Brother M. If you're using the Bible to support God as a "Him", you should be aware that in the original Hebrew Scriptures (aka the Old Testament) God is described in a very non-constant gender form. At some points God is called She, and at others He. These were changed to be male when translated by the...Greeks, I think it was - I'd have to look it up again. If you do a bit of research into the etymology of the New Testament, you'll find much more specific details for yourself.
That said, I have no idea why any God(s)/Goddess(es) would let the suffering in the world go on. Maybe so we can appreciate not suffering? That sounds lame, I admit, but short of the old "free will" debate, I just don't know.

I think you're more confused then I am after reading this question. For one thing, God cannot be a he and a she. God is a He!! God is kind. HE is all powerful. HE does love us!! I will support this TRUTH with the following statements:
One has to think twice about saying that God is not kind! He died on the cross in agony and much pain so that we would not have to. You deserved to be hanging on that cross. I deserved to be hanging helplessly there. We all did. But, He did it so that we did not have to. By doing that He provided a way for us to have access to Heaven after we die. All we have to do is accept Him into our hearts and believe that he died and then rose again for us. Refering to the children dying in agony and everything else you mentioned there are several reasons that those terribal things happen. Sometimes God does these things to wake us up. To punish us for neglecting him. Sometimes He uses death to grab a hold of a certain person. When someone dies sometimes their hearts are a lot more tender toward God. God will also allow Satan to bring those things upon us sometimes to see if we will still follow God. God is perfect so He would never let these things happen just for the fun of it !!!!!
I personally can't wait until I get to Heaven to meet my kind, all-powerful, and loving God. I hope that you accept these truths before you die so that you will not have to spend eternity burning in Hell and so that you will be able to meet this kind God for yourself. Then you can ask him everything you do not understand about things that go on in the world. Actually, you probably won't have to ask Him because those going to Heaven will know all things when we get there.!!!

God gave man a free will. A free will to love him or turn his back on him. God agonizes over the sins of man that is why he sent his only son to die for man. He allowed a perfect sacrifice to pay for your sins and mine. Maybe God should be the one to say thank you for the precarious position we put him in.

So is God male or Female. Of cource is is male. He is all powerful. Who is the one who allows children to die in agony? is it God? No. God has nothing to do with it. How about all the millions of Abortions that illegaly take place daily. Who is responsible for that? It is murder? It is the left wing libs and liberal minded people of the US. God has no part in that. We are his creations. He has the right to let us die whenever it glorifies Himself. Often it is to bring others to Himself. Who abuses children? is it God. No, it is humans. they will have to answer for that one day. AND GOD IS NOT A FEMALE. Read the Bible. It referes to Him as a man.

wow! that's alot to say, simply put there must be a balance between good and evil even with all the suffering in the world there is still alot of beautiful,magical and miraculous things out there.Don't ignore all the suffering in the world help out when you can,don't let it eat away at you depression is hard to escape.And god is neither a man or a woman GOD IS GOD

Our problem is that we blame GOD for everything. We want to know why does he/she let things happen. The answer is simple man has free will on almost all aspect of his/ her life so the things we can control like abuse and wars we would rather stand by and say why god why? The things we don't have complete control like childhood illnesses the answer is the law of nature. Everything works within the laws of nature.
