I like Reese better personally, but one thing is that it is gender neutral. Since Loren is too, you might want to go with Gavin.
Loren is a family name and my cousin got teased about having a girl name for a middle name when he was in HS, but he loves having a family name now. (Also have a brother with the middle name Frances...)

Loren might not be a good name for a boy . . one of my students is named Loren, and she's a girl . . . of the names you have picked out, Nathaniel is my favorite . . .

My son is Keegan Rhys...I don't like it spelt "Reese". Reminds me of the Peanut Butter Cups...so I spell it Rhys.
