Intangible really means a lot of thigs like for instance where the fight is to be held. Maybe one boxer might hate extreme heat maybe they have a bout during the day in Vegas.. Maybe the fight is in Colorado where the altitude is a killer one boxer might train in high altitude while the other doesn't. One boxer might only fight well in his home town, or in front of his national fans ( Mexican etc) Some fighters have to drop 7 pounds in two days when the other boxer doesn't. Some fighters hate fighting a left hander. These are all called intangibles. Expert bookies make millions of dollars off intangibles. Thry look at every major and minor facter of a boxing match and look at every possible "intangible" and then bet huge amount on who they think will win. Here is a good example of an intangible that maybe a classic. Las Vegas bookies knew that Ali was really not training the way he should have later in his career so they would bet big money that Ali's fights would go the distance because Ali would "rope a dope it" taking the fight into the late rounds where he would just hang on enough to win. When you view a fight see what intangibles in a fight you can come up with. Some great champions have lost fights on nothing more than who, where, what and why.

I dont know it is quite intangible that they would use these long words in boxing as us fans dont really understand what they mean.
