My old roommate was like this. She would stand guys up.
She had really low self esteem and couldn't stand telling a guy "no" when they asked her out. Instead she would say "yes" and hide on the night of the date. It was horrible.
Believe me, you're better off finding someone with less baggage.

Yes it is and whoever does that to you is not worth your time. I personally would never say yes to a date unless I actually planned on going through it. If I didn't want to go on a date I would rather be honest and say no. Find yourself someone who won't do that to you...

If you're saying it's cold cause you're waiting outside cause she hasn't her door, then she's obviously forgotten about the date and is not home.
