There is a lot that people don't know about hair. Did you know that people who wear hats for at least 2 hours a day for say maybe 5 years can cause them to go bald? Chemicals doesn't harm the hair as much as people think they do as long as the person knows how to use the chemicals in their hair. Also it's just not chemicals that causes damages to the hair other things can cause it, like the sun and pollution. I've been coloring my hair for 17 years and it's very healthy.

Women want attention from men, and some want to be the bimbo. Society places high importance on bleach blondes, which is a shame, because I think it looks awful. I learned my lesson a long time ago to just go natural after I ruined my own hair. It never did recover fully.

Believe it or not, haircolor isn't as harmful as you think, not even bleach. Companies have designed more gentle formulas that actually protect the hair. Sure, lots of girls do overkill or do at-home kits which do harm the hair, but there is nothing wrong with having professional color done.

A lot of people don't know how bad it is for their hair until they do it. I got mine relaxed and then realized how bad it was so now I'm letting it go. Besides, with all kinds of conditioner, people believe they can look like the stereotypical beauty without ruining their hair. They don't realize the beauty of natural hair.

Media images tell us that "blondes have more fun" and "Isn't this how you've always wanted to look" and blah, blah, blah. Socitey is insecure and that is why we internalize these message and "go golden"!

They do it because they are insecure and unhappy with the way they look.

They aren't satisfied with their appearance, and believe they can make themselves look better to others, when all they're really doing is make themselves look better to themselves.

Except it usually doesn't work, and they're still insecure and unhappy with the way they look.
