Its a bummer, but I think you should avoid this relationship. It would be easier if your sister wasn't involved. Ask her politely to stop flirting with him.
If you think you're ready to start dating, try to find a boy your age.

I think this is ok. Why, because the two of you get along so well. It sounds like you are cute together. I don't think you are too young. Most boys have a maturity level far below that of girls. Your sister is probably telling you this so she has a shot. Maybe mention to your sister, "Why do you have an interest in a boy 2years younger than you. Your at completely different levels of maturity." Go for it girl. Keep hanging out with the boy and don't succumb to letting your sister get the boy you obviously like. Good Luck!

ye, dont trip he is your guy, for one i think your sister is older than him which is not common sence. In addition your only 2 years younger so it makes more sence for you to go out with him. um, girl take my advice.. when you are 20 and he's 22 it's no that big of a deal so 12 and 14 isn't that big of a deal. You can have him, your sister is just jealous and overprotective. don't let this dude get in between you guys.

keep it up, soon you will show him your "love" and have his child only to find out he has no interest and will forever hate you for forcing him to pay child support, which will put you and him into welfare programs that people like me have to pay for, stay away from guys until your much older and remember, just because he wears a condom you will still get pregnant, it has a 50% of failing on 1st timers

First of all stop worrying about what other people think, and second, no guy is ever worth fighting over. Finally, you're twelve! You have you're whole life to worry about guys. I also noticed how you talked about yours and your sister's feelings, but what about him? Maybe you should talk to him about it, and see what he thinks.

Well, she is older and knows how to flirt better, she might be jealous.
But you are way too young.
And you can only be friends for now.
But I would tell your sister, she cannot have him either.
that you found him first and he's off limits to her.
let her know that if she betrays this trust, you will not share anymore secrets with her , nor anything else for that matter.
Tell your mom too. this way she knows whats up!
