I heard that right after you walk up is the best time to workout. Is this true. Is it also true that if you workout right before going to bed, your muscles are stimulated and you wont be able to sleep?

The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode.

If you go to a place to work out then you should pick the time that you are closest (like on the way home). Also I have found that if you have some downtime in the day (like you have two jobs and two hours between them) that is a good time.
Otherwise, I reccommend the morning because that gets people's day going. When you work out you really get your blood going that's why in the middle of the day is a great time but at night sucks

Any time that you can work out is the best time. Working out right before bed bothers some people, but other people are able to go right to sleep. Some people are not able to work out in the morning and others do just fine. The time you work out is not as important as doing it consistently.

I go to the gym about 8/9 pm. I don't have a problem sleeping, but everyone is different. Because I am not a morning person, I don't care to work out in the AM even though I have PLENTY of time.

Everybody is different.
I personally like to work out at 3-4pm. I use pretty heavy weights, ands this gives me enough time to be warmed up through through day, and yet enough time to settle down for the night. You will have to experiment with times for whatever you are doing, whether it is cardio, heavy lifting or full body stuff.
You also will have to sandwich it around your eating schedule, too. It's awful hard trying to jog a mile with a belly full of soup from lunch swishing around.
Try all times, be consistent and keep to your schedule.

I have heard that the best time to lift for strength training is first thing i the morning.

I have tried to work out prior to going to bed, and found myself unable to sleep at all. I would not suggest doing that.

The right answer is anytime that fits you schedule.

Right when you wake up before eating, because your burning off stuff already in your stomach, and eat healthy after! and i also work out at night before going to sleep because you'll burn calories even while you sleep! and dont eat 3-4 hours before sleeping
