My friend, considering your question, I think it can be divided into two different views. Firstly in a religious view and secondly in a morality of man(human) view.
For the first view, as many of them (those who had answered your question) and as in Christianity, certainly if you looked at such thing and think of many things when you stare to such picture, you are nonetheless considered to have committed adultery. Likewise with those who committed intercourse physically, you (I am not pointing out you boldly) are also to be considered to have done the same sinful and heinous act. Put it simple, according to one of the Ten Commandments in Christian, you did violate the rule of Not To Commit Adulterous.
Except if you merely looking at it and thinking of other things. (However, this, of course, would be impossible because whenever a man (I purposely emphasize on man/male) looks at pornography, surely their (our) mind will be full with sexual fantasies, let alone if a man stares at a woman. Due to this, a man has in fact committed sin, which is totally heinous and forbidden in the eyes of God.)
Secondly, in regard with the view in the morality of man, the general rule is that a man who has already married to a woman, MUST, not have any lust to another woman. However, this is of course would depend much to one's religion. However, putting aside of the religion matter, a married man who is seeing, looking or watching pornography is committing no wrong towards his wife. Nevertheless, the intention of the man during such 'pleasuring moment' must not in the purpose of 'dreaming' or 'having such a sexual fantasy' with other woman. I put it simple, his sexual desire must not of towards other woman but suppose towards his own wife. In other words, seeing, looking or watching pornography with the intention of to 'enhance' your sexual life with your wife is no wrong at all. As seeing this second view and applying it to your question, my friend, I think that whether a man has cheated his wife or not will be much depend on his mind during that time. As you know, a mind can change a heart of man towards other 'things'.
Be that as it may, however, this second view has also its defect or weakness. A man is always vulnerable to seduction and temptation. Therefore, despite of what I may have outlined here, the rule, of course, is very hard to adhere by any man (us) because man's intention or mind is very abstract and only God knows about it.
Comprehensively, I must say that a man who see, watch or looks pornography may not have committed any wrong i.e. cheat, towards his own wife so long his intention of doing so is not for the lust of anyone else. But then again, this is of course subjected to the rules set out by God. In Christian, the man has violated one of the rules in the Ten Commandment. In God's eye as well as in man's eye (man here refers to human) such act IS WRONG. And basically, as we all know, whoever commits wrong will be liable to punishment. Unless and until you become aware of your wrongful conduct (in God's view, sin) and take necessary action to correct yourself, you will never be forgiven.

This, my friend, is my lengthy answer for your simple question. I hope that you will never get confuse of reading it. If it may not directly answer your question, then hopefully it can give you some hint.

Good luck.

Technically a man isn't cheating on his wife by looking at porn. However the strict Christian view of adultery includes not only having sex with someone who is not your spouse, but watching pornography or even looking at erotic magazines. They call it "committing adultery in the mind".

The use of pornography is always a serious sin against the virtue of chastity, and for a married man a serious offense against his wife, but it is not adultery.

Matthew 5:28
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

And the objective is to not be led into tempation. Turn from away from the sin when it is presented. However, if we actually stumble and sincerely ask for forgiveness, it will be granted. Don't go looking for it and offhandedly ask for forgiveness.

actual, to the 1st question. To the 2d, that's an iffy subject count. i might wager it relies upon on the midsection of the guy. some each and every physique is addicted and attempting their ultimate to stop, yet they want God's help. now and back healing occurs over the years. yet whilst the guy now no longer needs to sin this way, and if he fights it for Christ's sake, i don't have self assurance Christ sees him as an adulterer even whilst he slips up.

If his wife doesn't know about it he is. He is cheating her out of the truth. If he's deceiving her it's not fair. Personally I'm believe in Christ too. Porn is my nemesis. My husband and I both like to watch it. I'm not perfect and you may need to tell your wife that you're not either. Maybe she'll wanna watch it with you.

Yes even to think it in your mind then you have already commited the sin..You can turn and rebuke the thought before it starts to enter in or chose to do that which is not pleasing to the Lord..

In God's eyes, you are commiting adultury with your eyes.See Mat 5:29 " If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better to loose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."
Jesus was speaking figuatively. He did not mean to gouge out your eye, because even a blind person can lust. But if that were the only choice, it would be better to go to Heaven with one eye than to go to hell with two. We sometimes tolerate sins in our life, left unchecked could eventually destroy us. It is better to experience the pain of getting rid of a bad habit than to allow the sin to bring judgment and condemnation.

If he looks at porn and lusts after someone in porn, yes, he has cheated in his mind or desired to cheat. To long to cheat is as bad as cheating in the sight of God. But the courts do not accept the bible.

Daniel James,
Guilty. And I looked at naked bodies on the internet just last night. Jesus said that the thought was as bad as the deed. That's why we don't need to focus so much on sin, but on faith. Faith is trust. You have to trust in God's promises in order to be saved. I am trusting God to save me for faith, which is what He promised, not because I am perfect.
