if u dnt know wut NY times logo looks like search "NY Times Logo" in yahoo or google Image search...thank you is the font name Old English Text MT, im not sure i checked in word with a logo of the Ny times, and then typed the new york times logo everything is the same but the y in my word looks like its says pork but the real new york times logo its looks like a y like it shoud....

Try Times New Roman the only other one that looks similar is Baskerville.
