Why God allows suffering:
When Satan led Adam and Eve into disobeying God, an important question was raised. Satan did not call into question God's power. He questioned God's right to rule! By calling God a liar who withholds good from his subjects, Satan charged that God is a bad ruler. (Genesis 3:2-5) Satan implied that mankind would be better off without God's rulership. This was an attack on God's sovereignty, or his right to rule.
Adam and Eve rebelled. In effect, they said: "We don't need God as our ruler. We can decide for ourselves what is right and wrong." How could God settle that issue? How could he show that his way truly is best? Some say God should simply have destroyed them and made a fresh start. But God had stated his purpose to fill the earth with the offspring of Adam and Eve, and he wanted them to live in an earthly paradise. (Genesis 1:28) God ALWAYS fulfills his purposes. (Isaiah 55:10, 11) Besides, getting rid of them in Eden would not have answered the question that had been raised regarding God's right to rule. Remember too, millions of angels were watching. (Job 38:7, Daniel 7:10) How God handled the rebellion would greatly affect allthose angels and eventually all intelligent creation. So God has allowed humans to govern themselves under Satan's guidance. (1 John 5:19) God knows that all honesthearted humans and angels will benefit from seeing that Satan has failed and that humans cannot govern themselves. (Jeremiah 10:23)
Why has God allowed suffering to go on for so long?
In the thousands of years of human history, mankind has been able to try every form of self-rule, or human government. Injustice, poverty, crime and war have grown worse. Human rule has now been shown to be a failure.
Also, if God were, for instance, to prevent crimes from happening, he would in effect be supporting Satan's case. Would God not be making people think that perhaps humans CAN rule themselves without disastrous results? He would become part of a lie.
Remember God is Almighty. He can, and will undo all the effects of mankind's suffering.

He made is on choice he wanted to take God's place in heaven, and when God kicked him out of heaven, he took with him 1/3 of the angels with him. God always allows his creation to choose. He never tempts his creation. He gave his creation free will. It is with the free will that we make the choices and we have to deal with the consequences.

there is no god of evil called the devil but that mans evil seeks to embody in his deed/works
no doudt in hell there are many who would claim to be the devil as in the oppisite of love and life and truth
