Have you ever had the punch that has the sherbert (orange) in it and ginger ale? Basically, use a can of pineapple juice, add a quart of sherbert, and an entire bottle of ginger ale, and some folks use 7up, whichever your taste. Just dump, and add more ice cream to taste. Some like theirs thick, and others like the mix a little runny, just play around with it. And, if you ever want to make it with alcohol, just add rum to the mix for a party where you will serve alcohol. Happy Bday to your mom!

There are many non-alcoholic beverages out there. You should first think about what your mother likes. Then think about the guests your serving. You could serve tea if it was a more sophisticated type of people your serving. If your mother is the type who likes fruits, maybe some sort of punch, fruit juice or smoothie and shakes. Lemonade, Iced tea, or maybe some milk tea. It all depends on your mother's taste and the taste of your guests.

freeze a ring of ginger ale in a jello mold. When just about ready to have the party, mix a bottle of red juice and a bottle of gingerale, put the ring on top, and top with vanilla ice cream
