Yep, there are side effects with any medication or vaccination. little fever, lethargy, loss of appetite and some loose stools for a day or so are not uncommon. If things get too bad, or last too long, contact your vet right away.. but most likely your pup will be back to herself in a day or two.

The shots should have been started at 6-8 weeks. We give our dogs the shots and worm them on the same day and it never causes a proble. The main problem you have to watch for with the shots is an allergic reaction, with swelling of the face, hives and trouble breathing. Pretty scary when that happens. Just watch her and if she is still vomiting tomorrow, call the vet and ask him if he thinks you should take her in. Oh and the wormer can cause them to drink more water.

I don't think you should be worried. Your pup is eating and drinking so it is likely okay.

I no longer give my dogs shots after having a very bad experience with 8 puppies. Gave them shots as I thought I should do. Within hours, the first pup was critically ill (all pups were super healthy up until that moment). To make a long story short, we lost 3 pups. I then started to research shots and found that there are good things about immunization shots, and there are some bad. Education is the key.

I no longer put shots in my dogs. I do something called a titer which is a lab test on some blood work. It determines if the dog's antibodies are sufficient. If the results are fine, then I do not get shots for my dogs.

It has been 8 years now, and I have not given any of my dogs shots, yet their titer results always come back okay.

Hmmmmm.

She may be having a reaction to the shot or the worming pill. You should be worried if she continues to vomit or gets diarrhea, she could become dehydrated. If she is eating, that is a good sign. But, I would contact the vet as soon as possible and describe the symptoms and see what he says. I hope your pup feels better soon.

Yes she can vomit, and seem lethargic, loss of appetite and there may be more. My dog had the vomiting thing going the first shot she got. Call your vet, my vet had me give my pup some pepto bismal and for food just give her boiled hamburger and rice if the vomiting lasted more than 24 hours to call them back and bring her in.

Yep, totally normal. My pup did same and slept a lot too but the next day was fine. She'll drink more because of the vomiting. My have some runny poops too. Good luck!

One guy was asking questions yesterdat because his dog died immediately after having shots.

Do NOT get yourself or your dog vaccinated.

A vaccinated dog or person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated dog or person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into your body.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.

If you go to the vaccination liberation web page, at

You will find all the forms necessary to provide exemption for your child.

I as a breeder of dogs don't ever give my pups all this on the same day.I usually give the vaccinations on one day and the wormer on the following day.If a vet adminstered all together, would suggest you call him and ask him if there should be any concern about its nausea.Would suggest instead of letting it drink water, give it some non-flavored pediolyte ,which will settle her stomach and supply and electrocyetes needed in order for her not to dehydrate.

Sometimes they get sick from there shot and sometimes they vomit but keep an eye on it. It should be OK in a couple of days and if it is not call the vet.

That's common for a young pup after worming.
