I don't know how many licks but I know how many bites. It takes only one bite to reach the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop. Maybe to eat the whole Tootsie Roll Pop.

Who even licks a tootsie pop, or a lollipop? I always suck them...
Shouldn't the real question be, how long to reach the center of a tootsie pop? I might be able to answer that. At least I could do a little experimenting and get back to you.

I don't think anyone has ever licked a tootsie pop all the way down to the chewy center.

I found out it was an average to about 364 licks to the center of a toostie pop!

65 for the mini pops and and about 340 for the huge depending on the size of you're tounge
