would it be good/bad/funny/stupid/dumb to write back: "hey done ur assignment yet or am I just a burden on ur schedule"
If bad, suggest what I should write thats short but slightly teasing

Um, that sounds sort of bad. Like you resent her having an assignment, and you're putting yourself down.
Better to say something like,"Done your assignment yet? Can I help? I can't wait to see you!"

well your reply implies to me that you are having a go at the girl saying you think she is lying about the assignment , it all so shows me that you are insecure and want her attention,like.... OH poor me you don't really want to see me do you? how about just asking her if she wants to meet yet..stop trying to be funny it don't work for you.

don't say that phrase, whatever you do -- you're planting an idea in her head to think of you as a burden. instead, consider writing this:
dear ____, this is a public service message on behalf of your assignment. please complete me asap because failure to do
this will make one exceptionally fine young man very sad, as he is patiently awaiting your message.

it would be dumb cus u dont say something like that to a woman unless u want on her bad side say something like " hey just thought i would say hi and see if u forgot about me get back to me later " or something to that affect ok

you donot sound "stupid' but it would be participating in "stupid behavior" if you text that message. perhaps you could wait quietly, giving her time without pressure, or text something like
" just wanted to add a smile to your day"

not a girl mate but don't rush your statements they are slow but they take us up quickly you kno...
like if you sed "hey assignment buggin you enough for you not to ignore me" but you didn't just wait til the pressures off and apologise "if" she took it up the wrong way
