Yes, I think it is better having kids young. I was 15 and I love it. By the time your kids get older, you will still be young enough to enjoy your life. I know 15 was young, but I am 22 now and I am love being a mother of two. When my oldest is like 15, I will be 30 and still going.

I used to think it was much better to wait until you're older. But now I'm seeing a couple friends in their late 30's who have done the career thing and have decided on trying for a baby - and they're running into some real difficulty, because it's simply not happening for them.

Unfortunately fertility does decline with age - that's a fact - and you can probably thank evolution for that. Women were designed to have babies at certain time in their life, we can't change that - no matter how much we may wish that we could. That's why you tend to see a lot of richer older women going for IVF.

Modern times have been great for women, we have the choice to experience so many things, but not many of us imagine that some day, we could run into problems. I'd say, if becoming a mother really is important to you, the best time to think about having children is definitely somewhere in your 20's. :-)

That depends on your definition of young! If you are talking 23-28 and are secure both financially and in you marriage than I say yes. If your talking 13-21 I'ld say wait until you are at least 23-28. Also depends on how many children you are planning to have and how far apart you want to space them. If you want several with a couple years between each then start toward the 23 age so you can have them all before you hit that 35yr mark that increases a lot of risks. Good luck

Better not to have kids at very young age. Explore your hobbies, enjoy life, travel to your hearts content and when you feel your partner is the right person for you then you can have kids. It is nice to wach them grow but they take all your time if you really want to be a good parent

I guess this all depends on how young of an age are we talking. I think you should at least finish high school before you have kids. My uncle is now in his mid forties and having a baby and I his neice in my tenties have a baby. Not much difference in the two really. We can support our children we have a home. So really its all about if you are ready.

I would have to say if you can live your life first...Do all the things you want to do right now and know that you do have all the time in the world to become a mother.

I think someone that is in their teens shouldn't have babies. That is just too young.
I think anywhere's in your 20's is fine if your ready but why rush it? People have way into their 40's to have babies.

Once you have a baby it isn't about you anymore. If your ready to put someone elses life before yours then go ahead and have a baby.

Good luck

For us yes, because we always said by the time ours are old enough to move out we will still be young enough to enjoy having the house to ourselves. I like the fact that one day I will have grand kids and will still be young enough to enjoy playing with them when they're running around and being real active.

I don't know how young you're talking, but it is usually better to have a child after you get a good job so that you are able to support both you and your family. In my opinion, it is better to have a child after college.

It depends on the person. I know 30 year olds that never should have had kids and I know 18 year olds that are great moms.

I think it's better... you'll have much more energy to deal with kids... and when they're good enough to be on their own youll still be able to enjoy your life
