No it isn't necessarily something bad.
Your nasal membranes may be dry and if they are dry they tend to split easily and when there is great enough pressure as in sneezing,it is very quite possible to see some blood or even bleeding.
You might try a petroleum based product to moisten your nasal membranes.
If you have a problem with high blood pressure you should seek professional help as this may be an indication that your blood pressure is not under good control.

Yes this can be serious. My best advice is seek medical attention- especially if it is continous amounts of blood and large amounts. I have this problem too, I sneeze and blow my nose forcefully. This can be one of the causes. I have severe, severe allergies but not sinuitus. Occasionally, I get sinus infections. I would have to know more info to help you more. Some nasal problems that can be chronic is a deviated septum and polyps. If you have a prolonged nose blockage...get this checked out.

It depends, are you sick? Having any other symptoms? Got something stuck in your nose? I had really bad nosebleeds when I moved up north From GA. It was because the air up here is sooooo dang DRY!! Just a suggestion. Try some saline nasal spray, or a hot vapor humidifier in your room at night.
