no hes like at the perfect point where hes big, and you cant call him fat, he would own at football, and hes probably pretty intimidating, 180 pounds with a 7:30 mile, he should definitly play football or lacrosse or hockey, something with endurance and contact, and hes def. not fat.

If he works out every other day, the weight is probably muscle mass. I don't think 179 is too much for a 14 year old.

Sorry to suggest the opposite to the others but he may be slightly overweight despite it all. Though he has a good fitness level.

According to the National Heart and Lung foundation's Body Mass Index calculator he has a BMI of 25.7 which is just on the borderline of being a little overweight.
