An allergic reaction to a z-pack is an allergic reaction to the antibiotic azythromycin, an macrolide antibiotic.

Yes anyone can have a allergic reaction to Z pack . I did ,a rash and facial swelling ,throat closing , but doesnt mean you will ,If so take a benedryl and if that dont work go to the ER they will have to give you epinephrin for the throat swelling . My mom is even allergic to benedryl which helps allergic reactions

z-pack is Zithromax - azithromycin. You can have a reaction to any antibiotic
