There was this girl i liked, who seemd to go out of her way to stay away from me, and when she was near me she'd get away as soon as possible, by any means necessary. I lliked her a lot, so I worked up some courage (from I dunno where), and asked her out. She took about 20 seconds to answer, longet s20 seconds in my life. Then she smiled, and said, "Yes". Turns out she'd been feeling the same way I had, and was about to approach me just before I got to her. We've been dating almost two wonderful, if not interesting, years. Hope My answer helped, and hope you find (or have found) someone who likes you for you. Best of Luck

I had a crush on a boy that I went to highschool with. We knew each other, a little, but we never talked much. About two years after we graduated, I finally told him that I had a crush on him for a long time. After I got to know him better, I realized that this guy was a complete jerk, and it didn't take me long to figure that out. Sometimes, when we have a crush on someone from a distance, we have a tendency of imagining them to be someone great, someone unlike who they are. He wasn't the only guy who was a disappointment to me. You have to get to know somebody or else you might run away with your imagination. I really hope he lives up to everything you think he is.

I have liked lots of guys and have tried to keep it under wraps. It seems like eventually they figure it out even though you may try just to be friends. Those are guys I have spoken to. But there have been lots of guys I had crushes on that I never spoke to. It's fun, it's secret and you can enjoy them from afar. Nothing wrong with that! I think it's very common--especially in the shier sorts of girls.
What did I do about it? I usually started off with something humorous. That was the best way to get his attention and to convey to him that I am fun to be with. If you develop a friendship with him with jokes and light-hearted humor it can only get better from there.

It happens alot . but this kind of love , i mean " one way love" never lasts because it doesn't matter how much u love this person, u can't spend the rest of ur life loving some one who doesn't even know that u exist. Time is all what it takes to forget about it

I was shy as a boy and liked several girls but never told them or asked them out. Now that I am older, I also realize that there were girls who liked me but never told me.
I spoke to all these girls because I knew them from school.

Not me I always tell em, even if I don't know them. It's really easy...
and I'm only saying this because I don't think I can not live another moment without you in my life.
