Good night everybody!
Orar (Dua in Arabic) Pray but asking for something from God.
Rezar (Namaz in Arabic) Pray to thank and praise God.
I notice I always say Pray, I do not recall any other word in English to separate the two. Anyone knows if there exists any?

Rezar (Namaz) Has rules when you pray where you pray, how to pray... where as Orar (Dua) is just to talk to God.

I don't think there is a distinction like this made in English. I guess you could say pray for when you are asking for something (or "pray for") and "praise" when you are thanking and praising God.

Hmm.. perhaps, Salaah = a prayer, as in the one we do 5 times a day. Du'a = supplications, praising and thanking Allah, asking for blessings and forgiveness

Pray-to ask for something you fervently wish for.
Worship-to give praise for all God have done for you and the many blessings he has placed upon you.
