It could be a sign of an ear infection or parasite, but it could also be an early warning sign of epilepsy or other neurological disorder. Trust your gut. If the twitching seems weird or unusual to you, get your dog to a vet for a check up.

My boxer did this as well. I only witnessed it happen 3 or 4 times for about a 2 week period. I finally took her to the vet (when I called he said it could be seisures) and they couldn't find anything. He said if it got worse, or more frequent they would do a catscan. Luckily it didn't happen.
I hope you have the same luck as us.

Sounds like your pet may be having neurological problems, but could also be inner ear problems.Don't really think it could be seizures, but would rather think it is something with its' ears, maybe fluid buildup on the ear drums,or a severe ear infection.

How long have you been wearing them? Try washing them, especially if they smell bad.
