I think you win for the stupidist question ever asked. If prison was a place people wanted to go, they wouldn't have to lock up the inmates now would they? Sorry, but getting butt raped by a bunch of criminals is not my idea of a good time.

I visit my husband in prison and that's bad enough. People have no idea. They think what they see on TV is real, they elect legislators who offer to get tough on crime....well, if they get any tougher on crime, there isn't going to be anyone left OUTSIDE prison. With mandatory minimums, your dad will have to do five years just for smoking a joint (instead of his usual beer). You'll lose your house, he'll lose the job he's had for years, you'll lose the family car, your mom isn't going to be much fun anymore, and a lot of nasty people will hate your guts just because......

Prison is hell on earth. Prison is not like the idiotic TV shows or Hollywood's version.

Rent the Shawshank Redemption. That's about as close as Hollywood gets.

The only people who want to go to prison are people who have been there. Some are there so long that they become institutionalized, and they no longer know how to fit into the free world. Some (especially illegal immigrants), go there because they are given free room and board, food, medical, etc. .......For His Old Lady......That is the biggest load of crap. Inmates have more protection and rights than your average civilian. If he is telling you how horrible it is, its only because they actually make him get off his butt and work 8 hours a day. Get a clue.

I worked at the United States Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth , and believe me, prison is no picnic for prisoners.

The only reason I can think of for wanting to be in jail is this ...

To be homeless, without an income, lacking of food and clothing, no family to help you ...

then, yes! Prison would, at the very least, offer a warm home, food and medicine if needed.

Although I would not perfer this, it is a viable possible consideration!

IMHO,

I don't think anyone would want to go to prison, although some people belong there.

Prison should be a place of total misery.

Is this question a true indication of how stupid you really are, or are you in some drug induced stupor?
