They can become in heat as early as 6 months and that's for female and male both. And no matter if they are brother or sister, they will still mate. And u should be careful breeding dogs because if one dog is bigger than the other then the smaller one can get hurt. And u shouldn't bother the dog while it is having babies unless u r really close to the dog or if the dog is having problems, but then u should call a vet.

Depending on the breed, their first "season" will occur between 6 and 12 months old. Most experienced breeders will tell you to wait till their second "season", which could be another 4 to 6 months later.

If you don't know the answer, then you're not a professional breeder and shouldn't be breeding a dog.

I would suggest 1/12 to 2 years old. Get an okay from your vet first that she is healthy and capable of having pup's and that those pups will be healthy to.
