I'm Catholic and your question doesn't bother me.
I think all of us Christians should stand together and quit bickering amongst ourselves.
Gospel According to Saint Luke
Chapter 8
5 The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And other some fell upon a rock: and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it. 8 And other some fell upon good ground; and being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And his disciples asked him what this parable might be. 10 To whom he said: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to the rest in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing may not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 And they by the way side are they that hear; then the devil cometh, and taketh the word out of their heart, lest believing they should be saved. 13 Now they upon the rock, are they who when they hear, receive the word with joy: and these have no roots; for they believe for a while, and in time of temptation, they fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit. 15 But that on the good ground, are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience.

The thing that bothers me is that one is not saved by religious doctrine. One is saved through grace by faith in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves it is the gift of God not as a result of works, that no one can boast.
Jesus says this in Mark 7:6-9
And He said to them, "Rightly did Isaiah prophecy of you...as it is written
This people honors Me with their lips
But their heart is far away from Me
But in vain to they worship Me
Teaching as DOCTRINES the precepts of men."
Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.".He was also saying to them, "You nicely set aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition."
Catholicism is a religion
Christianity is a relationship with Jesus

So the hoopla is about following what the bible says rather than a doctrine of men. Nowhere in the bible does it say that there is to be a "vicar of Christ" on this earth.
I only share this information so that those in the Catholic Church will see that there is a difference with what the bible, God's Holy Word teaches and what the Roman Catholic church teaches.

Some Catholics will be saved the ones that obey Acts 2:38. If they are saved using their Catholic doctrine, then Christ doctrine is void, I don't think so!

Simply put, it would mean that God is a liar. Because, Jesus said, "If you would enter into life, keep the commandments" (Mt 19:17). And, "Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Mt 5:19).
The Catholic Church does not keep or teach the Commandments of God.

i do not imagine it makes any distinction even if you're Catholic or non-Catholic in this count number. The early church became catholic contained in the prevalent experience and pre-dates the Catholic church with a capital C. The early martyrs were subsequently THE early Christian church. those who renounce do it to save their skins. The martyrs went to lack of existence on account of their eternal salvation. i don't think of any Christian is warranted in denying Christ till now men no count number the outcomes. It became a huge challenge for the early church even as those who had denied Christ then needed to come back decrease back into the church fold. i wager for Christians the question comes right down to who can we adore maximum, The Lord or our pores and skin. There are many things in catholicism that have no scriptural basis so I would find it hard to ever become involved in that religion. That said, however, one can only be saved through Faith and the only way to God is through Jesus.

Bother me? No. I wish everyone would go to heaven.
Confuse me? Considering it's contrary to the teachings of Christ, Yes.

hmmm, that doesn't bother me because it is not doctrine that saves, it is accepting Christ as your personal savior.
Nothing more
nothing less

I don’t see that it’s my place to speculate about who will be saved and who won’t.
I’m just a humble servant of Christ, after all.
