Do you really want that ridiculous piercing when you're trying to get a good job or when you're in your 30's (whichever comes first)?

wow how old are you? you sahould wait tilll your 18. you will not be able to hide a lip piercings.you will need to keep the jewelry in for the first few weeks otherrwise if you take it out too soon the hole will close up right away since it will not be healed yet. there is no way you will be able to hide it. the hole will still be there and they will still notice even if it is out. so i wouldnt bother with any facial piercings if i were you. also most jobs do not allow facial piercings and you will always need to be taking them out while on the job. anyways you can always get your ears pierced again. if you dont have them already tu i assume you do. in california you only need to be 16 to get anything on your ears done. you can always get your cartilede done or something or just some more lower lobe piercings. but other than that if you are under 18 then there isnt much you can do abotu anything.....except for your ears. and always go to a local piercing shop to do it, with a needle. whatever you do stay away from the guns, their nasty! =o
so if you get your ears done you can just wear your hair done and they shouldnt notice anything. but if you are 18 then something else you can hide is a navel piercings, nipples, or genitals, if your into that lol.

you will not be ab;e to put a bandaid or makeup over a facila piercings though!. puttign a bandaid on it will sufficate your piercing. you know how you take a band aid off of your finger and its moist? well that would be a huge bredding ground for bacteria if you stick any kind of banaid on it. also make up will most likely irritate it, just stick to your ears for now. and wait till you are 18, jobless for a few months (so you can allow your piercings to heal) ti get your lip piercd.

Chill out. So you want a lip piercing and your parents won't let you. So what? Wait til you're old enough and then if you still want it, get it. What's the rush? Besides, once you get it, there is really no way to hide it, not when it's right there on your lip. The best thing you can do right now is abide by your parents' rules; after you get old enough and are self sufficient, then you can decide to do what you want with your body.

well of corse there is going to be a hole, maybe you could get a belly button peircing, how often do you parents look up your top? do you have your ears peirced? i'm sure they'd let u do that. or u could get an eyebrow peircing, or tounge i've got an idea... go 2 a practical joke store and get a fake pericing (but i think it will only work 4 ur tounge) or u cood buy it and c if it works on your lip. what about a nose peircing?

You should never try to hide a piercing. Generally hiding a piercing causes you to make poor choices that will assist in having a poorly cared for piercing. You can't even get a piercing with a retainer because retainers are generally plastic or arcrylic and harvest bacteria to increase infections because they cannot be properly cleaned and are very porous. Plus, you are NEVER supposed to remove the jewelry from a new piercing until it is fully healed. If you do remove the jewelry, you can cause numerous issues.

The best you can do is wait until you aren't living with them or wait until you are older. Or talk with them and tell them what's goin on. Explain that you understand the risks and care needed and hope they change their mind.

As far as hidden piercings; nipples, labia, clitoral hood, septum(because it can tuck into your nose to hide it) and navel are probably all you can get away with.

You won't be able to hide a lip piercing unless you grow a big moustache and beard. And then it won't be visible anyway so there's no point in getting it pierced.

But forget that, you need parent permission to get a piercing anywhere. So either they sign the permission slip(meaning they will know), or you do it yourself(its NOT a good idea. Many things could and will go wrong)

You wouldn't be able to hide it because you have to keep the piercing for an amount of time, unless you take it off before time and get an infection. The piercing you could hide would probably be a belly piercing, or nipple piercing. But seriously, why rebel against your parents? Just talk to them, you can't lose thier trust over a piercing.

I think you should be brave enough to not hide it from your parents if you really want it.

I pierced my ear many years ago when it was still considered "alternative" for guys to do that. My parents just had to accept that.

You're sort of making fools of your parents by hiding it.

Natural is the best option though. Going natural is way under-rated.

I had my belly button pierced when I was 18. Now I'm in my early 30th and I removed it because I had a baby, and it just didn't look all that appropriate anymore. Now I have a hole in my belly which sucks. Give it serious thought before getting a piercing, especially in you face.

there is a way u can hide a lip piercing, u can get it done and put in a very small clear ring.If that don't work then just get another piercing that u can hide like:belly piercings,if u have long hair ear piercings, or get a tattoo

Ummmm... Hello if it's on your lip you obviously can't hide it. You talk to them everyday right? Do you really want to get a piercing because you like it or because you want to rebel? Honey just wait until your 18 and you can do whatever you want.
