Essentially, you need to make sure that the parts of the drive that had the files on are overwritten with some other information - when you 'delete' a file, all you really do is remove its entry from the filesystem's database. If you can persuade the drive to read that part again, the data will still be there, hence the need to actually overwrite (or re-format) the drive.

*nix has a utility called 'shred' that does this for files - i imagine there is something similar in Windows, but I couldn't tell you what it's called.

Three options :-

1) Save files in drive D ( your second drive in you PC )
2) Save it in an external disk drive
3) Buy a 2-3 Gig Thumb drive and save your games and short films.
Longer films shrink / compress your films down and try your
thumb drive , if still cannot go get a 4.7Gig DVD disk .

You may obtain the DVD shrinking driver from Filehippo.
Go to "dvdshrink 3.2.0.15 " in the filehippo under the section
of CD & DVD Tools

Filehippo is a website whch have lots of freewares
try & goodluck

If you are using your own PC and not someone else's, plus you have adequate Firewall, Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware programs running, then there shouldn't be much of a problem.

To make sure the files have gone once you've deleted them then get a file shredding program, try this site: http://www.tucows.com/Windows/IS-IT/FileManagement/FileShredders/ or this one: http://www.snapfiles.com/shareware/security/swerase.html and take your pick of whats available.
