Revelations 2:20-23 (KJV):
23 And I will KILL her CHILDREN with death
(Jesus was pissed off at Jezebel and said he would kill her children). No mistranslation here. So how did "turn the other cheek" turn into "I will KILL her CHILDREN"?

The language is figurative; this is obvious by the context. First, Jezebel is the name of an evil and idolatrous woman in the Hebrew Scriptures. Nobody would have named their child Jezebel; this name is being used as a pejorative, like calling somebody a Benedict Arnold or Hitler. Then, there is a reference to her "adultery," a common metaphor for idolatry in the Hebrew Scriptures. Her "children" are her followers. The exact nature of their eventual punishment isn't really addressed in all this symbolic language, only the fact that it will be serious.

It likely refers to Jezebel and the whole orgie circle dying of venereal disease.
Our choices and actions affect others. Even King David's offspring suffered terrible endings because they were influenced by David's bad choices, and made their own bad choices. That is the way the world became after the fall of Adam (eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which means metaphorically, "I will decide what is right, and who are you to tell me what is right or wrong"?).
If your parents made bad choices, make sure you get some healing in your mind and some wise spiritual guidance so you will make better choices!

In the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, Jesus killed a kid just for bumping into him. That was one of the Gospels which the council of Nicea voted out of the Bible. Too bad more people don't know the history of the bible, there would be a lot fewer christians.

Read the whole chapter and not that one verse that is not what he is saying and he is not saying that he is going too! I have noticed that you have asked two things now that i have answered in the past 5 min and they both sound very foolish, are you trying to prove something in the Bible wrong? I promise you that it cant be done..... Nothing can or ever will br proven wrong about the Bible but alot of things have already been found to be true!

Dude, you have to see the context. Jezebel sinned, and Jesus didn't want it to happen again, so the justice was death. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. You misunderstand the quote "turn the other cheek."

Wasn't Jezebel in the Old Testament? If so, why are you bringing up Jesus?

I'm confused.

Because you can't read 3 pages of the bible without comming across a contradiction. It's the nature of the religion.

Why don't you read the rest of it and see why this is going to happen after He comes back and gets his children..This is your God the one who has told you over and over what you need to do to inherit heaven..
