My china tea set has a pitcher, creamer &sugar, 6 cups & saucers.
I don't know how to arrange it on a shelf for the best display. I want to show it off as a decorating piece in my kitchen instead of keeping it in a cupboard.
Anyone have any ideas?

center the pitcher, either put the creamer & sugar bowl on either side of it or together on one side of the pitcher and use cup and saucer stands to display the tea cups.
three cups on each side of the pitcher so it looks balanced.

Carol, If its just a flat wall shelf one way is to place the pitcher in the center then to The right beside the pitcher place your sugar & creamer then two saucers with cups sitting on them. Then to the left side of the pitcher place the remaining four saucers with the cups sitting them. Get you some green ivey or greenery and trim them all out. Add some nice cornating pictures.

That should look pretty nice

According to the best designers...

Always arrange items on tables and in cabinets in threes, and in a kind of triangle shape with the largest and highest at the back and the others on either side. It creates lines in a rooom that are pleasing to the eye...

I don't know why?
