Wow, that's certainly thought provoking. At first I thought I had an immediate answer; but now I find myself "all over the place" with my thoughts. So please excuse me if they don't make "a lot of sense".

I think I would've wiped out the human population once WWI began. If I was God, from my point of view, it would look like a lot of humans didn't appreciate life and the planet I'd allowed them to live on. I would've been fed up with all the hate, anger, fights and deceit. I would've started again from scratch; and perhaps re-wrote my Bible in a better way so everyone could understand it. I'd just want there to be peace among all human beings.

I'm thinking about it from my point of how the world is today. Maybe if the planet had been wiped out then; we wouldn't be where we are now. I think I'd also condition more people with compassion and thoughtfulness; with the ability to put themselves in someone else's shoes for a minute. And maybe that would prevent future problems from arising, and I wouldn't have to wipe out the planet again.

Well, that's my big dream.

Gospel According to Saint Luke
Chapter 8

5 The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

6 And other some fell upon a rock: and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it. 8 And other some fell upon good ground; and being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And his disciples asked him what this parable might be. 10 To whom he said: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to the rest in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing may not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 And they by the way side are they that hear; then the devil cometh, and taketh the word out of their heart, lest believing they should be saved. 13 Now they upon the rock, are they who when they hear, receive the word with joy: and these have no roots; for they believe for a while, and in time of temptation, they fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit. 15 But that on the good ground, are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience.

I strongly suspect such questions are much like one of those "be careful what you wish for" type of inquiries.

But initially, I'd say that what I'd like to happen is this: I think the world would be a much better place if people were made to feel --even in small degree-- the pain they inflict on others. I'm talking mostly emotional/spiritual type of pain.

Think about how different the world would be.

I probably wouldn't have been Jealous and let people believe what they wanted so long as they didn't hurt people who believed otherwise

I can't fathom how anyone could possibly answer that when none of us could possibly comprehend the power and responsibility that the position would entail.
