Like I said , I'm making halloween cutouts and I just realized that I have different colors and not enough of just one. Will that kill the flavor to mix them? I'm just using what I have. Going out and getting extra stuff isnt an option.

No I don't think that will work. The jello will absorb all the water that that cake needs. Sounds like an interesting science experiment but I wouldn't eat it. The jello will also throw off the taste. Jello and cake just do NOT go together! Just make the cupcakes white. No one will care if they aren't green. If possible, get some green sugar crystals later and sprinkle them on top. Or a store-bought plastic St Pat's Day decoration made to put on food. Or if you can find a green cupcake paper cup then slip it on over the base later.

MIX 'EM!! They'll turn a creepy color and look really great for Halloween! I mix every year and the result is the same - yummy! As for the flavor, think fruit punch!

Well different colors means different flavors. You may could mix..

Orange and Lemon
Lemon and Lime
Cherry and Strawberry etc.

Similar flavors would do okay together.

It may look a little funny but hey, it's halloween! I wouldn't worry about the taste. You can always add a little vodka and nobody will care about the taste after a few!

I'm not sure what would happen if you mixed it because the flavors may taste different. I would just stick to what you have...

Depends on what the flavors are, you can definitely mix them. The flavors your using would determine if they taste gross or not.

I tried it... it tastes kind of like a weird fruit punch and has almost a purpley-mud color to it. It'd probably work out better for you if you opted for jello shots instead of molds.
