I want a camera that is small and thin. so the casio exilms look pretty good. does anyone have any recent experience with them? and how are they. or are there any other cameras out there that are thin and under $220 with a at least a 6 mega pixel?

Casio digital cameras are excellent overall. Casio has done a good job of understanding camera use from the user's point of view, and so the ergonomics, menus, and user interface are well designed.

Their customer service is also good, should you be unlucky enough to need to have something fixed during your warranty period.

In terms of purchasing strategies, you should be able to get a very good 6 megapixel model for a good price, if you look for models that are no longer the newest. Once a model has been superceded by a newer one (with more megapixels, etc.) the previous models drop in price significantly.

Yep 6 mega pixel is Extreamly good for someone who isnt a pro-photographer. I mean look at me Im a teen with no job and i have a 4.1 mega pixel cam and i make Good use of it. Imagining what i would do with a 6 mega pixel cam......... the possiblities would be endless. In reality nobody really needs a 6 mega pixel cam unless they are using the camera for their job or something in that area.
