my origional question was banned - aparently the nazis running yahoo wont let me ask questions that deal with spirituality, just religion - i guess we're not allowd to talk about "inner experiences" - aparently religious fanatics don't believe that their soul exists within their being.

Believe it or not...
In a boat in the middle of Lake Saranac in the Adirondaks while fishing at about 7AM in the morning. Such a sense of peace and tranquility came of me the likes of which I had never experienced before that time. I was 21. Ever since I have always kept my eyes and ears peeled for those awe inspiring moments and like being an early riser because of it. Now I see it everyday and am still amazed. It changed my life because I knew first hand there truly was a God.
Psst. Sorry about the Nazi Yahoo's...it happens to a lot of us for weird reasons. They have no internal compass and are merely semi-conscious. Cheers.

Hi. :) Oh yeas............ Multiple strange things happen to me from time to time. Signs... yes, and also something else... Just a year ago I had an unexpected feeling of absolute bliss in the middle of the night, without no reason I woke up and felt the existence of the whole universe in one instant and the existence of myself, such a tiny particle in this universe, yet not lost. A feeling of absolute love and peace.... mmmm..... This lasted for couple of minutes only. I've read this super enlightened state never lasts for long, for the mind is in 'short circuit' with the universe. Then dreams. Several times predicted the next day. One time was particularly valuable, when I saw there were bugs entering my pocket (that is in a dream. Also bugs usually represent money) So the next day I bought a lottery and won 100 Finnish marks(were still at that time) and at that time it was a lot ! And I was about 10 years old. The other time, when I was about the same age or younger I saw an ENORMOUS, I really mean it, HUGE star. It was the size of the whole window as I looked through it. It happened during the night, I again woke up for no apparent reason and saw that snow white star. Now I regret I didn't go to balcony to find out more... Then something about fortune tellers. I never visited one on purpose, but twice in my life until now,t ehy came to me themselves. Once when I was 2 and another time, just very recently. I had very hard times and I think I received help this way. This was exactly about the issue I was concerned my whole life. And I found out the point of my life through my friend, who I never knew was a fortune teller. Then continuous signs when walking on a street and seeing a sentence scratched on a bench. Usually I understand instantly that advice I read, it often has to do something with my life. I think those signs are very natural phenomena. It's just up to us to be open to them and accept them at any time. Of course not running round all parks in search for a bench with some scratch... All you need is a strong desire to receive help. I wonder if you've had any signs..

My answer is multi-faceted. When I stopped believing in Christianity, that was definitely powerful. When my friend who was dying of cancer played a song for me on guitar, stared me straight in the eyes and told me he loved me, and that he wasn't afraid of death. That was more powerful than any "religious" experience I've ever had. Performing a lyrical dance (solo) in front of an enormous crowd, feeling the power of the music and the movement and the amazing energy of the crowd... Does that count as religious? If so, it would definitely be the greatest religious experience I've ever had. I have a sort of weird outlook on spirituality in general... And I am an atheist.. go figure.

I realized when I started to answer this question...I have had so many great spiritual experiences, I would be unable to settle on just one...and therefore, having you ask this question so I could realize how many awesome experiences with God I have had...now tops my list as my best spiritual experience!
Thank you!

This is a hard one, because a few popped into my mind. I think I'd have to say when Jesus delivered me from alcoholism. I felt like doing cartwheels across the yard. (-: It was so wonderful to be free at last from addiction.
